Jakarta, 16 November 2022 – The Indonesian Masters golf tournament has been held for 9 years. This year is the tenth event for this prestigious professional golf tournament in the country. Since the first event in 2011, the Indonesian Masters, which this year has received support from BNI and PT Tunas Niaga Energi (TNE), has gained more attention from the national and international golf fans as this tournament has become part of The International Series.
The popularity of this tournament is inseparable from the contribution of the media who are always covering and reporting the event to public. Therefore, this year BNI Indonesian Masters presented by TNE invites media partners to experience playing golf at the “Media Golf Day”.
The Media Golf Day event took place on 16 November 2022 at the Royale Jakarta Golf Club. In this one-day activity, media partners are given the opportunity to learn how to hit a golf ball at the driving range, guided by five Indonesian professional golfers. Professional golfers who were participating as coach are Danny Masrin, Naraajie Emerald Ramadhanputra, Jonathan Wijono, Kevin C. Akbar, and Benita Kasiadi.
The Media Golf Day provides a general introduction to golf to Indonesian media partners: to understand the sport, the golf course, and how to play golf on the course. This experience can also add to their insights about golf tournaments that are different from other competitive sports.
